Dishes worthy of the best chefs
A modern interpretation of the traditional cuisine of Piedmont and the Langhe is at the core of our approach. The recipes passed down through the traditional Italian cookbooks are modified and modernized according to some directions of the gourmet cuisine. Fresh local ingredients are used as much as possible, in order to serve our customers healthy and unforgettably delicious food.
Our suppliers of meat and dairy products are chosen preferably among the near farmers, since Neviglie is one of the zones of Piedmont where Fassona, a famous Italian breed, is bred. In this way, we are sure to use some genuine and fresh ingredients only.
Our excellence is first courses, particularly pasta dishes of which our chef is a real master. We give classes about fresh pasta preparation that are attended by students from all over the world.
The restaurant of Locanda San Giorgio can host up to 120 persons, and it is divided in 4 halls that are arranged in a way to assure our guests the necessary privacy and quiet. Two halls furnished with some large window panels look upon the garden and have a breath-taking view on the underlying valley. The inner halls are decorated with arches and ancient stone walls. In summer, it is also possible to enjoy your meat sitting outside on the terrace (40 seats) or in the garden.

The great tradition of Italian wines
Our cellar twists through the dark dungeons of the ancient convent in an ambience of low ceilings with barrel vaults of red bricks that ensures the best humidity and temperature conditions for wine preservation. Besides the typical wines from the Langhe, like Arnais and Barbaresco, we have a huge selection of some the best Italian wines, like Chianti Classico and quality Venetian Sauvignon.
Particularly rich is our selection of Barolo, with vintages carefully selected by our sommeliers, in order to assure our customers the best in terms of taste, class and exclusivity.
